Welcome to the Uptown Cafe

The Uptown Cafe is located in the heart of downtown Bloomington, Indiana on the Square. We prepare meals with a Cajun Creole style, with bold flavors, hearty portions and personality. Hours We are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We serve brunch on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday dinner hours are 5 to 10 p.m. News The New Bar Area is open! Graduation Weekend! Make plans to join us for brunch or dinner on IU's Graduation Weekend. We will have special menus for the weekend! The New Bar Area: With the renovation, we are doubling the size of the bar and adding additional family dining. The new full-service bar has eight beers on tap, as well as fine wine, quality spirits and cocktails. The bar is an extension to the restaurant. Even though we are not a "sports bar" have two HD televisions and a 120" HD Projection screen, giving us the ability to show specific sports events and other programing. The new space will allow at least 50 more seats and more comfortable seating. Also, we will extend our hours on weekends. Thanks to all for tolerating the construction and dust.
