Welcome to the Uptown Cafe

The Uptown Cafe is located in the heart of downtown Bloomington, Indiana on the Square. We prepare meals with a Cajun Creole style, with bold flavors, hearty portions and personality. Hours We are open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to midnight. Saturday hours are 8 a.m. until midnight. We serve brunch on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations requests are welcome by calling 812-339-0900. News Come in to watch your favorite sporting events! With the renovation, we doubled the size of the bar and added additional family dining. The new full-service bar has eight beers on tap, as well as fine wines, quality spirits and cocktails. The bar is an extension to the restaurant. Even though we are not a sports bar, we have two HD televisions and a 120" HD Projection screen, giving us the ability to show specific sports events and other programing.
